Whispering Lines

Dimensions: lines between 3-5 meters long
Materials: crushed found rock, wild lavender leaves, saltWhispering Lines is a series of temporary land art interventions. During an artist residency at Joya: arte + ecología / AiR in Spain, I responded to the land’s transformation through creative intervention in a local barranco, a site shaped by floods and constant erosion. Using materials found on-site, I crushed rocks into powder and created white lines on gravel piles, drawing attention to the landscape's natural forms. Inspired by the relationship between water and the land, the lines evoked the foam of waves, despite the arid environment.
